Anyone who is 55 years or older may apply for residence at Leisure Acres Apartments Phase I. Because the building was constructed under an agreement with the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) specifically designed for low-income residents, a resident living alone can have a yearly income of no more than $35,500.00, and two people living together may have a yearly income of no more than $40,550.00. Your rent will be between $278.00 and $375.00 for an efficiency apartment, and between $321.00 and $433.00 for a one-bedroom apartment. Leisure Acres Phase I has 35 efficiency apartments, and 65 one-bedroom apartments total.
