       Anyone who is 62 years or older or who would benefit from the features of our mobility-accessible units may apply for residence at Lincoln - Douglas Apartments. Because the building was constructed under an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) (administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority) specifically designed for low-income residents, a resident living alone can have a yearly income of no more than $19,800.00, two people living together may have a yearly income of no more than $22,600.00. Your rent will be approximately thirty percent (30%) of the adjusted gross income of all adult residents in your unit.
