Creekside Terrace is housing facility for seniors whose head of household is 62 years of age or over. It was built with funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) specifically designed for low-income residents. Low income means the family's income must be at or below 50% of the median income for the area.
Creekside Terrace provides numerous amenities for its residents:
Carpeted living room and bedroom
Individually controlled heating and cooling
Cable and internet access (tenants pays for service)
24 hour on-call maintenance
Coin operated laundry
Community space for social programs, family gatherings and other recreation
Part-time manager and maintenance
Rent paid by tenants is based on 30% of a person's adjusted income. Occupancy for one-bedroom apartments is limited to one or two person. There is a pet policy for the property.
* "Elderly Family" is defined as:
A single person 62 years of age or older or
Two persons, one of whom is 62 years or older and another who is determined, based upon a licensed health care professional's certification to be essential to an applicant'/residents' ability to remain in the apartment.
